Η Αναπτυξιακή Εταιρία του Δήμου Τρικκαίων, e-Trikala Α.Ε συμμετείχε στο Συνέδριο των Major Cities of Europe (http://www.majorcities.eu/), που έλαβε χώρα στο Zagreb στις 11 με 14 Ιουνίου 2017.
Η e-trikala αποτελεί ιδρυτικό μέλος των Major Cities of Europe και φέτος της απονεμήθηκε η τιμητική διάκριση «Outstanding Contribution to 2017 Major Cities of Europe Conference”.
Στα πλαίσια της Έκθεσης του Συνεδρίου, η εταιρία είχε την ευκαιρία να παρουσιάσει μέσα από πόστερ, φυλλάδια και παρουσιάσεις, τρία από τα Ευρωπαϊκά Έργα, που υλοποιούνται αυτή την περίοδο στην πόλη των Τρικάλων.
Συγκεκριμένα παρουσιάστηκαν τα έργα:
ACTIVAGE (ένα έργο χρηματοδοτούμενο από το πρόγραμμα H2020 της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής): μία πρωτοβουλία, που στόχο έχει να αντιμετωπίσει αποτελεσματικά τις προκλήσεις που επιφέρει η γήρανση του πληθυσμού, μέσα από λύσεις που συνεπάγονται τη χρήση νέων τεχνολογιών και μειώνοντας παράλληλα τις αρνητικές επιπτώσεις των χρόνιων παθήσεων. (http://www.activageproject.eu/) Στο πρόγραμμα ΑCTIVAGE στην Κεντρική Ελλάδα συμμετέχει η Cities Net των Δήμων της Κεντρικής Ελλάδας.
Den-CuPID (έργο υπό την αιγίδα του Ιδρύματος Κρατικών Υποτροφιών (ΙΚΥ), την εθνική διαχειριστική αρχή για το πρόγραμμα Erasmus+ στην Ελλάδα): μια Στρατηγική Συμμαχία που στοχεύει κατά κύριο λόγο στη βελτίωση των εγκάρσιων δεξιοτήτων, όπως η συνδυαστική σκέψη, αλλά και επιχειρηματικών δεξιοτήτων, όπως η ικανότητα διαχείρισης και διοίκησης έργων, και στην ενίσχυση της γνώσης στον τομέα της πολιτιστικής διαχείρισης. http://den-cupid.eu/en/
iHeERO (χρηματοδοτούμενο έργο από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση, και συγκεκριμένα από το Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) – Transport Sector με αριθμό συμβολαίου INEA/CEF/TRANS/1031743): Πρόκειται για τη συνέχεια των έργων HeERO και HeERO2 και στοχεύει στην πρόληψη και αποτροπή ατυχημάτων μέσω από μία eCall υπηρεσία. http://iheero.eu/

The Municipal Development Company of Trikala city, E-trikala S.A participated in the Major Cities of Europe Conference (http://www.majorcities.eu/) that took place in Zagreb at 11th-14th of June 2017
E-trikala is one of the very first members of Major Cities of Europe and was nominated this year for “Outstanding Contribution to the 2017 Major Cities of Europe Conference”.
During the Conference, e-trikala had the opportunity to promote and disseminate via posters, brochures and presentations three European Projects that are under implementation this period in the city of Trikala.
To be precise the projects presented are the following:
ACTIVAGE (a HORIZON 2020 EU funded project) : ACTIVAGE Project is an initiative that focuses in meeting the challenge posed by the ageing of the population via solutions entailing the use of the Internet of Things, reducing the negative impact involved in chronic disorders and degeneration http://www.activageproject.eu/
Den CuPID (a project that runs under the auspices of the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY), the Hellenic National Agency of the Erasmus+ programme). Den CuPID is a Strategic Partnership (SP), which aims primarily at improving transversal competencies, such as entrepreneurship and managerial skills, and enhancing knowledge in the field of cultural management. It envisages the optimization of local capacities in designing and implementing projects based on the local cultural endowment, as well as the ability to involve financial and innovative funding tools, for the accomplishment of these projects. iHEeRO (an EU funded project receiving funding from the European Union’s Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) – Transport Sector under grant agreement no. INEA/CEF/TRANS/1031743): this project is considered the continuation of HEeRO and HEeRO2 projects and focuses in implementing an eCall service triggered either manually by vehicle occupants or automatically so as to either prevent or detect an accident. http://iheero.eu/
The persons that attended the conference were, the C.E.O of e-trikala, Mr. Odysseas Raptis and Mrs. Christina Karaberi who works in the Department of Research and Communication of the company.
